- For bookings made through Edinburgh Holiday Accommodation their terms and conditions will also apply.
- Please note that FRIDAY is the normal changeover day for weekly bookings. During the Peak Season (see rate chart) only weekly bookings are accepted.
- Short Break bookings Weekends Fri- Mon ( 3 nights) and Midweek breaks Mon-Fri(4 nights) are generally only available during Mid and Low seasons. When availability allows, Short Breaks may be taken during other seasons- please contact us for further info/availability.
- Reservations for bookings will be held for 7 days from date of request, pending payment of the Booking Deposit to secure the booking.
- Booking Deposit – a non-refundable deposit of 25% of the rental fee is required to secure the booking. The remaining fee will become due 4 weeks prior to the holiday date.
- In the event of a booking being made within 4 weeks of the holiday, the full rent is required at time of booking.
We recommend that all guests take out adequate holiday insurance to cover themselves in the event of illness or other circumstances which prevent them from taking the booked holiday.
- Cancellations – N.B. The deposit is non-returnable in the event of cancellation.
- In the event of cancellation more than 4 weeks prior to the holiday, the deposit is non-refundable but there will be no further payment due.
- In the event of cancellation once payment in full has been received, we will endeavour to re-let the property for you. The deposit is non-returnable but a proportion of the balance may be returned if we are able to re-let the property.
Services for guests -
- Rental of the apartment includes the cost of gas and electricity, bed linen, table linen and towels.
- A complimentary Welcome Hamper is provided for guests staying for a week or more. The hamper contains a selection of quality items including local Scottish produce.
- Guests staying for a Short Break (3 or 4 nights) will receive a complimentary bottle of wine.
- Where guests stay for longer than a week, change of bed linen, towels and additional cleaning of the apartment will be provided as part of the rental.
- All guests will find complimentary tea and coffee, fresh milk and bread on arrival.
- A hairdryer, shoe-cleaning kit, sewing kit and basic first aid kit are available for guests’ use.
- An informative folder containing tourist info’ is available for guests.
- If there are any further services we can provide to make your stay more enjoyable please ask and we will do our best to help.
Meet and greet -
- Arrival - The apartment will be ready for guests from 4pm on the day of arrival. A member of the family will meet guests, show the apartment and provide keys for your stay. Guests are requested to contact us the day before to give an estimated time of arrival.
- Departure - Guests are required to vacate the property by 11 am (unless prior arrangements have been made with us ) on the morning of departure, leaving it in a clean and tidy condition. All breakages and damage (except fair wear and tear) should be reported directly to us and reimbursement made. Excess cleaning will be charged for at £12 per hour.
